Bill Pennock, CEO and Founder of Squaretree
Bill Pennock is the founder and current CEO of Squaretree IT Projects. In 1987, Bill got his real break when the International Modeling and Talent Association (IMTA) asked him to write the program to run their world wide convention in New York City. In six weeks, while still working at his day job, Bill wrote all the programs he needed to get the registrations done and start the competitions. As the competitions were running he worked frantically in his hotel room to complete the scoring and other programs needed to run the rest of the convention. After a week of non-stop coding with only about ten hours sleep in nine days, the convention completed with a sit down awards dinner. Bill's programs worked, aspiring models were called for Model of the Year and the convention was a success.
Thus, Bill's career as a business application programmer was launched. Since then he has built, architected and directed the building of many programs used daily by the companies and organizations that have been his clients. The experience has allowed him to build a business himself with Business Application Development, Web Development and the development and maintenance of large and small network infrastructures. Bill currently has left programming behind and leads the organization in direction and new service environments.
Interestingly enough, Bill still finds time to service that first client, International Modeling and Talent Association, at their convention twice a year. Squaretree has numerous clients that have been doing business with them for over ten years, demonstrating the company's devotion to providing exceptional service to their clients. Long-term relations are a core part of Squaretree's business. Bill's goal with Squaretree is to build a company that uses technology services to help companies and organizations get the most from their computer investments.
